George Iron

Floridian. Veteran. Musician.

About

I specialize in delivering engaging performances with an acoustic guitar and my voice, drawing from songs that reflect the places and experiences that shaped me. I was born and raised in Florida but also spent time living in Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan—experiences that broadened my perspective and continue to influence how I approach music.

I’m inspired by the outdoors, the ocean, and the lessons that come from 23 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Whether I’m tracking in the studio or playing live, my goal is simple: create music that resonates, moves people, and leaves something behind.

My sound pulls from blues, country, reggae, grunge, and southern rock. I’m drawn to raw riffs, honest lyrics, and songs that actually mean something. Much of what I perform and write comes from real experiences—war, struggle, growth, faith, freedom, and everything in between.

While I know a wide range of material, I tend to lean toward deeper cuts, building sets that feel intentional rather than just playing the obvious hits.

I also write and record my own music, often layering in drums, bass, and keys in my home studio.

FAQs

Can I hire you for an event?

Yes. I’m available for select live performances including private events, parties, and local venues.

My sets blend acoustic rock, blues, country, reggae, and southern influences — a mix of covers and originals tailored to fit the room. I keep things professional, flexible, and easy to coordinate.

If you’re interested in booking, reach out through the contact page and I’ll get back to you with availability and details.

What instruments do you play and what do you do in the studio?

I play guitar, bass, piano/keys, drums, and sing lead vocals.

In the studio, I track and arrange my own material, building songs from a simple idea into a finished recording. I focus on getting strong, honest performances at the source and keeping the production clean and intentional. I don’t rely on auto-tune or heavy vocal correction — I prefer to capture the performance as it is.

What songs can you play?

I know a couple hundred songs across blues, country, reggae, southern rock, and acoustic rock — along with my own originals. My sets usually mix crowd favorites with deeper cuts, depending on the vibe.

I respond well to live requests and am always reading the room. If there are specific songs you’d like included, I’m happy to work them in when possible. With enough notice, I can usually learn a song or two for your event as well.
